***This is just a general idea to set up the ensuing action. I give 2 options for one of the props in the scene. A few fun things here including using food and ice.**

Mother Superior institutes a new birthday celebration policy at the covenant, that ultimately results in a display of lust and sin among the nuns.

MOTHER SUPERIOR, NUN 1 and the BIRTHDAY NUN are in the chapel praying. At the end of prayer, MOTHER SUPERIOR announces to the other nuns about a new policy she wants to implement. She tells the other nuns that since she celebrated her birthday last week, she had a divine vision about its true meaning. In this vision, she describes that birthdays should not be a celebration, but a devotion to the Lord. As such, the celebration should in fact be a penance for their sins.

She tells the nuns that for each birthday, a nun will select another nun to deliver this gift or devotion. MOTHER SUPERIOR then tells the other nuns that more details will not be given since she wants it to be a surprise. She asks each nun the date of their birthday and records it. The BIRTHDAY NUN announces her birthday is tomorrow. MOTHER SUPERIOR then asks the BIRTHDAY NUN what flavor cake she wishes for her birthday, then tells the other nuns to meet her in the chapel tomorrow for the first birthday devotion.

The next day, NUN 1 walks into the chapel with a cake, with the BIRTHDAY NUN. Then MOTHER SUPERIOR enters with a box. A bucket of ice is placed on the table, with some beverages. The candles to the cake are lit and a birthday wish is made, and the the Birthday song is sung. The cake is then cut and handed to each nun. After they partially finish the cake, MOTHER SUPERIOR announces the birthday devotion is about to begin. The other nuns look excited in anticipation. MOTHER SUPERIOR opens up the box, and then pulls out a cross (or paddle measuring 1 foot by 4" with holes throughout). The nuns look surprised.

MOTHER SUPERIOR then orders the BIRTHDAY NUN to walk up to the altar, and bend over. She then instructs NUN 1 to take the paddle (or cross), and strike the BIRTHDAY NUN’s ass 19 times, one for each year. The NUN 1 then reluctantly grabs paddle, and begins to strike the BIRTHDAY NUN’s butt.
