hehe, mad idea this. But maybe you could have the same character but with a different face and explain it with a 'regeneration'-type thing. like they do in that sci-fi series Doctor Who. I mean ok, she's not an alien but she is the virgin mary and she is supposed to have holy/unholy powers so it could be possible. I think i just reached the 'far-fetched' limit...

Oh Ania I saw on one comment that Liz Vicious blew you off and never replied.
